5th Lykeio Acharnon / GreeceOur school is a senior high school in a superb called “Acharnes”, located 10 km away from the city centre of Athens. There are 95 students between 15-18 years old in 6 classes. We offer general education in 4 different specialties : humanitarians studies, information technology studies, sciences as well as sanitarian studies. Our region is dwelled by inhabitants with low-level income and educational background. A big part of school’s student’s families are Greek re patriots from Russia and other ex USSR countries. We also have many students with Balkans’ origins. As many of our students’, also, come from families of lowlevel financial background, having problems originating from their background is something common. Such problems are financial problems, risk of domestic violence and social exclusion. So, first priority is that students will remain in school taking classes, and this is a target which is generally achieved. The staff is made up of 15 teachers, of different specialties. The main are Greek Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, Economics, Sociology, English Literature, Sport Education and Religion. Other specialties are available also, depending on the students’ needs. Because of the special origin of most of our students, our aim is to encourage cooperation and teamwork in order to eliminate differences between individuals and problems in our school’s function. We intent to activate our students on issues of social concern and to give motives to weak students to achieve self-improvement.

IISS Jacopo del Duca / ItalyThe Italian organisation has almost 800 pupils attending different courses such as AFM ( Administration, Finance, Marketing); Tourism; Arts and Crafts School; Liceo Scientifico; CAT 8 Constructions, Environment and Territory) and Foreign Languages . The area in which the organisation is located has a vocation for tourism. Cefalù is, in fact, one the most popular seaside resorts in the region of Sicily. Apart from the European projects, which have always been linked to topics related to students’ personal and professional development, the school has always provided students with the necessary tools and competences to face the world of work and has enabled them to think in terms of widening their scope as today’s pupils and tomorrow’s citizens The Italian organisation has been involved in European Active Citizenship both in national and international projects. The school has closely cooperated with the Regional School Office in Palermo and the Ministry of Education and Research in suggesting new curricula based on Story creation, Dramatization, Documentary filming, Photography, Visual arts and craftsmanship between the different stages of Secondary Education Scuola Media (attended by students aged 11-13) and “ Primo Biennio” of High School (attended by students aged 14-19 ). Some of the latest engagements have been on STEM education, employability through the learning of foreign languages and TIC, environmental awareness and arts and crafts.

Ozel Adalya Anadolu Lisesi / TurkeyÖzel Adalya College is a private school located in the city of Antalya. Although it was opened in 2013, it has a highly respected and prestigious place in the city. Ozel Adalya Anadolu Lisesi, is a state High School at secondary level for general education with the students aged 12-18 (from 5th to 12th grades). There are 251 students and 29 teachers in the school. 4 administrators work in management as 1 principal and 3 manager assistants. 83 out of 251 students are secondary school students while the others are upper secondary school students. Our school aims to provide an educational environment in order to educate individuals who have the necessary skills in national and international level, who apply national and international policies effectively and efficiently, have domestic and national values, have the requirements of the information society, and who have the necessary skills. Zespol Szkol w Zychlinie / Poland
Zespol Szkol is located in Żychlin in the centre of Poland.Our school provides general education in all basic subjects, students (aged 15-19) attend school for 4 (high school)-5 (technical vocational school) years and take matriculation exam in the end.Over 100 students attend the school that offers the educational facilities necessary to ensure effective learning and friendly environment for intellectual development.There are about 20 teachers employed in the school.There are well -equipped language classrooms, computer room, a library with Multimedia Information Centre. School’s motivation to take part in the project Our motivation comes from The strategic goals One the strategic goals for institution of Complex School in Zychlin during the next four years is decreasing chool dropouts.The rate of ESl in Complex School in Zychlin is not very high. Within the last 5 years 4.5 % of students left school but the Teachers' Council meet regularly to diagnose and analyse the situation of LSL at school . We want to minimize this negative phenomenon.To implement this goals we take part in Eueopean projects. We want give our students a chance to get interest in developing themselves in a most effective way. It was pointed out that the main role in ESL play school bulling ,difficulties and lack of motivation. The representative body of students also tried to find possible ways of limiting ESL in the school. Students stressed the importance of motivation. According to them lack of motivation causes truancy which leads to ESL. They also put emphasis on atmosphere at school and relations students- teachers and students – students.

Colegiul National de Arta "Octav Bancila" / Romania
Colegiul National de Arta “Octav Bancila” is a vocational arts school, providing academic education as well as training in arts skills to 1400 pupils who wish to prepare for a higher artistic education and careers in the following profiles: -Visual arts: painting, restoration of painting, graphic, design, sculpture; -Architecture and industrial design; -Choreography ; -Music: musical instruments and classical canto; -Theatre performance. The school has all the curricula necessary materials:classrooms, laboratories, workshops spaces, exhibition spaces. In our institution there are students, age 6 to 18. Teachers in our schools are approx 200. Starting with the primary school and ending with the Bacalaureat diploma, on the basis of European recognized values, our school aims to give our pupils the skills and knowledge they will need in society and in their further studies. The CNAOBIS mission is to create a positive environment for interpersonal relationship between students-parents-teachers through activities which aim at encouraging initiative, developing the creative potential, acquiring a harmonious personality, combining theoretical and artistic training.
